Happy Birthday yesterday to this crazy awesome guy!! He's one year older and wise too. Happy Birthday to my hubby!! We had a fun day celebrating him yesterday. Started the day out with some awesome breakfast appliances from my breakfast, complete with Costco berries I got him (Costco has the best berries). Then played with baby, went for a walk, had an awesome fondu dinner, cake, chocolate fondu, and then presents from his family- which he loved. He was pretty spoiled. It was good to spoil him, he deserves it!

We went to Benihana this month for Jaron's birthday dinner. We loved it, so delicious! The waiter took our picture afterward, and notice that our baby is blurry. Yep, that's Adelynn! Never holds still!

We also have the cutest little tigger around.

Who really really disliked the hood.

But she can clap now! How cool is that! I've been working on teaching here for weeks and she just started this week. It is such a dainty little clap and is so darling. She does it when music starts or somebody says "yay!"

Yay! Go Addie!!

And in preparation for Easter she had to try on some bunny ears. Oh, she's so cute!

Updates on baby girl:
-She waves goodbye. You usually have to help her get started, but then she does it on her own. It makes you feel like a million bucks when she waves to you
-She claps, which makes her mama so proud
-She crawls EVERYWHERE. She is fast! She is attracted to stairs, and will push back the blockade we put up to keep her away from them. Most of the time she has already made it up three or four steps before we can grab her down. She loves loves loves going up stairs. She can go all the way to the top without help.  She has the biggest grin on her face the whole time.
-Sacrament meeting is very difficult, now with a very mobile and very vocal baby. Because I direct the music, poor Jaron spends most of his time with her in the hall. And then because I teach primary Jaron then spends the next two hours with her in the hall as well. He's a trooper. And an awesome daddy.
-She doesn't like cake. But she does like banana bread. Cookies are a no go, loves her meat and veggies. She loves prunes. Applesauce sometimes, and veggies most always. Fruit and other sweet things she doesn't favor. I really hope she likes cake by her first birthday. If anything though, she will play with it and make a big mess, which is all we're really hoping for anyway.
-She turned 8 months old a week ago! How did my bitty baby girl get this big?!
-We love her more than ever

We have made a decision about medical school. After a lot of research, weighing the options, asking a lot of questions, prayers and fasting, and even more praying, we have decided that The Ohio State Medical University will be best for our family. We will do the HPSP Scholarship, which is through the Air Force. We are very excited for Jaron to attend such a prestigious school where he will get his training to become a doctor. We will move to Ohio mid-June. Jaron then has some military training until July 29, and then school starts August 1.

I am very excited and proud of Jaron. He has worked so hard to get to this point, and is already preparing to go to medical school. He is such a hard worker and I know he will do great.

As an added bonus going to Ohio, my family lives about an hour away in Dayton. We are thrilled to be able to be close to them. We have been very blessed to be close to family our whole marriage so far. We hope this becomes a tradition, to always live about an hour or so from family.

Jaron and I went to Chick-fil-a for a dinner date, and we got an ice cream to share. We asked for an ice cream cone, and they gave us a little more than they were supposed to! Addie waned some, even though it was bigger than her head.

We keep a fitted sheet over the rocking chair to keep it clean. Addie wanted to know what was underneath the sheet. So cute.

Addie is so strong, the restraint on the changing table no longer restrains her. We used to use it to help keep her still while we changed her. Doesn't work anymore!

We have a very talented cake decorator in the family! And I'll give you a hint, it's not me!! Jaron made this cake for his work for Valentine's Day. It says "be my coworker" and "MS approves". The MS approves part is what his department says on all their papers, so a bit of an inside joke. Jaron made everything you see here, the cake, the bow, the letters. He is getting really good at fondant, look how smooth and professional it looks. He's good!

Jaron was cooking in the kitchen and Addie wanted to help. And what would grandma's kitchen be if it didn't have a baby sized apron! Addie didn't seem to really care much about it, but we thought it was darling.

We've started giving this one bubble baths! And she loves it!! As a mom, I wish I had thought have this earlier. She will sit and play with the bubbles for a long time, giving me a chance to sit and take a breather. And she is so cute to watch explore! Mom and dad have a lot of fun playing with her in the bubbles too.

She has a fascination with the water stream. It is so cute. Whenever it is on she tries to grab it. she also brings her hands to her mouth, try see what that water tastes like I guess.

We love bath time!!!

This picture isn't a bubble bath, but I love it. Addie loves her bath toys, and gets kind of violent sometimes playing with them.

We are loving having a crawler. It is so fun. She "sprint crawls" where her feet go faster than her arms and she falls on her face, but her legs keep going. It is so cute.

Some new things for Addie:
-Nap time has improved. She still moves around, but she does eventually lay down when she gets tired and goes to sleep.
-Night time has gotten so much better. She now only gets up about 3 times a night consistently. It is wonderful.
-She feel asleep last night while sitting up in her crib. Jaron and I were watching her on the video monitor. She was sitting up, started swaying, and then finally plopped down on her face and didn't move. It was probably the funniest and most darling thing we have ever seen
-All of her pacifiers have gone mysteriously missing, all at once. Yesterday we caught her kneeling up against the side of her crib (the side up against the wall) and peering down. Then she took her pacifier and deliberately dropped it down there. I think we know where all the pacifiers have gone too! A quick glance revealed two of them down there, and I think with a better look we will find them all. I wonder though, if she has to drop the pacifiers down, why do it on the side against the wall where it is so hard to get to! Sometimes I think she knows what were thinking....
-She says "mama" and "dada" all the time now. I think she first started saying them constantly about age 6 months. Her favorite word is dada, for sure. Mama comes out when she's upset.
-She loves to blow raspberries. Especially at church. I bet you can guess who taught her how to do that! Goes along with her favorite word!

Love this baby girl so much. It's sad, I don't think we will be ably to call her baby much longer. She's certainly not the little baby she was just a few months ago!

Jaron was in the musical Aida at Centerpoint last October, and to honor all those who participated in a musical in 2015 Centerpoint threw a hats off party. The invite said evening attire, so Jaron and I went all out! It also happened to be Valentine's weekend, so we decided to double count it as our Valentine's date. I was adventurous and made my dress and a vest, bow tie, and pocket square for Jaron. I was so impressed with how they turned out!

And I have to show off my dress!!

And then this guy was soooo good looking in his vest and bow tie!!

And then since the camera was out, we got a family picture too.

Sure love this little family!!!

Jaron and I had a fun time at the party. It was great having a free Valentine's date, and able to celebrate Jaron's talent at the same time. Love that man!!

She's crawling! Guess it's time to baby proof.

I love how her crawl has kind of a bunny hop to it. She's been working on it for a while now, but today is the first day I can call it a crawl.

She also fed herself a bottle. Big day for this little girl.
